What Water Can Teach Us About Life

  1. Strong bonds can be transformative. Two highly combustible gases come together to form water which is used to put out fires.
  2. Never underestimate the power of small action over long periods of time. Think Grand Canyon.
  3. Extremes — excess (flooding) and scarcity (drought) — are often problematic. When things are not right, look to the middle.
  4. You don’t need to go through barriers or obstacles. Going around them is also effective. There is strength in flexibility.
  5. Inconveniences (like rain) are a part of growth. Without them growth will not occur. Meet them looking for the growth that is sure to follow.
