Thank you. Yes. It is a slightly imperfect system.
I warned people when Biden was announced to be the winner that they needed to calm down because it was not over (and yes I caught flack).
I made it clear that:
Democrats made winning the election the goal and thought, since they won, it was over.
Republicans (and Trump) were always interested in keeping him in office. The election was one possible way but, as we have seen, it is not the end.
If the SC court effort fails, I am not sure what they will do next and am concerned.
There is are also three different major players in the mix -- all with different interests:
1. Trump -- giving up this kind of power and attention will be hard for him AND he is likely facing a lot of legal issues too.
2. Right-wing TV -- they are driving much of the agenda and are franking driving the country off the cliff. They are doing this for ideological reasons one of which is money over everything.
3. Republican Party -- Right now they are pawns of #1 and #2 but there MIGHT be a point when they say enough -- afterall their jobs are dependent upon the structure of government and Constitution. If Trump crashes this out, they may be out too.
When it comes to your idea, I think there is a challenge that I am facing with another concept. An analogy that people can "get" right away. For example, we default to hierarchies because we can picture pyramids and it makes sense. People will default to certain patterns.
People have accepted the idea that society is strongest when each of its parts is strongest.
Like 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
But when it comes to societies, 1 + 1 + 1 = 5.
Because, for example, I can't move a couch on my own, but when two people work together, we can move a couch.
The Pandemic is also a great example. Each person working together can have a much bigger result and 50% of the people.
It might also be why your concept is hard for people to get their arms around and just get it.
If you say that the tierdemocraticgovernance is like....and relate to something that everyone can understand or get right away.
We have been struggling with our "like" in another group I am in but if you want people to just "click" and "get it" that is the key -- it is how you can get a shift.
(Our situation is a little more difficult because we are going up the Ayn Randing, atomization of the US -- so most framing and wording has this embedded. We have decades of messaging we are bucking.)
You do not have a similar barrier.
