States that did not work to litigate the the spread of covid. Mostly "red" states. They suffered higher rates of illness and death but sadly, the people in those areas do not know that the policies of their leaders caused them this additional pain.

Many would have still died but the number would not be as large -- particularly in 2021 when the vaccines were available and worked relatively well against the harsher forms of the virus.
