I wrote this at the of May. We will soon see how accurate I am.

And you seem to have an interesting take which ignores the conflict of interests of Trump staying at his own properties and possible emoluments violations for starts. Other Presidents took great pains to reduce the appearance of a conflict of interest.

You also seem to ignore that Trump, unlike any other President, from Day 1 has made it clear that he sees those who disagree with him as the enemy. There is no room for negotiation with someone with this mindset.

You also seem to ignore how Trump, etc. trolled Obama and others about things like vacation costs when he has spent more in 3 years than Obama did in 8. He trolled him about playing golf and Trump has out golfed all of them. These list of contradictions and hypocrisy goes on.

You is more that you seem to ignore but, again, I laid out last May what I thought would happen. Primarily that Barr would be trying to give to Trump what Trump communicated that he wanted facts — be — damned. And that, particularly at the time this was right, right wing media was calling for heads. Will they ratchet up the rhetoric again? I am not sure. The timing with the impeachment in the House may make this even more enticing — to distract from what his happening.

Trump is not a victim in this.

So, what Trump is getting now is called karma or you reap what you sow.

I should also state that I am an independent — I have voted for conservatives probably as much as democrats and third parts just as much as the two “regular” parties because the choices were so bad.

PS: Remember when it comes to Mueller, Trump was raising eye brows among many people when he was amazingly and uncharacteristically flattering when it came to Putin. He would not hold back with anyone else — but Putin. Then add in his attraction to people who had unusual Russian contacts in 2016 and, yea, there was a reason for people to be paying attention. (I hope that they would regardless of party.) Oh, BTW, we also found out that he lied about not having business interests in Russia. At the time he was making that comment, he actually did have something pending — and we only found that out later. If he would have just been honest about that, may be people would not have been suspicious but he was not honest and his dishonesty was apparent in his behavior.
