Because the DOJ has proven to be feckless and incompetent, January 6th strengthened him because they now have a loyalty test to truly purge the ranks. "Do you think the election was stolen?"
They did not have this in 2016 and they have used to it push out anyone who does not publicly support the big lie.
Add to that, because the DOJ did not take quick action, those in Congress who supported Trump stayed close to what he had become -- the party power base. As a result, instead of preparing for trial or prison, they have more power than ever.
Garland will go down in history as Bidens biggest mistake -- and it could cost our country its Democracy.
They have changed state laws.
They have Project 2025 and are recruiting and training loyalist so that they can purge the government of qualified experts and install these stooges.
BTW: There were so many time that Trump should have been ousted -- not just the Bible thing but other things too.
The issue is right wing media is not media but propaganda. They will cover, filter, deflect and distort to keep people blind.
There is a lot to this -- but the Dems are missing this point too.
The ad equivalent of what Trump gets from right wing media is huge -- and it is free to Trump.
People say that Biden needs to do this and that or needs to get surrogates out there on TV -- which may be true but they are missing the fact that there are powerful media networks and talent running stories 24/7 to protect Trump - for free.
This is needed because their policies, in general, are not appealing so they need to keep people entertained and distracted -- and plugged in to them -- but it still works.
So when you hear about fund raising -- it shows how much they are missing the boat.
The ad equivalent of Ingraham, Hannity (TV and Radio), Newsmax, OAN, local stations, Bannon's podcasts and so many more and compare that to what the left has and the ad equivency difference is likely close to be billion dollars (considering audience sizes and distribution). I do not have data to back this up but it would be HUGE.
